I have the smallest, cheapest and hardest to kill car-a Geo Metro! Some people call it my "clown car" because it's so small, but it's super cheap on gas, super cheap on insurance, and it's damned near 10 years old and has only had to have minor repairs and maintenance to keep it going. (Did I mention it's paid for?!) I'm a student and my husband works 2 blocks away from where we live, so we don't need anything grand. Maybe when I'm done school and we start a family, we'll look into something bigger and a little "fancier", but for now, my Metro is all I need.

My home town (which is 30 minutes away from where I live) is home to the CAMI plant, a GM/Suzuki factory. The first vehicle it ever mass-produced was-you guessed it-the Metro. So pretty much everyone who works or has worked there drives one (it's almost a requirement) so they're quite plentiful in this part of the world. Yep, that's what Ingersoll is known for. That, and cheese.

I'm a little embarrassed to say...LOL. I'm rollin in a 1993 Chevrolet Van. Don't get me wrong, it's nice because I do have kids but I'm relatively young and would prefer something a little more"hip".:) Plus, I've about broken a hip trying to get my baby in and out of that thing!!

How about a nice affordable sedan.. I had my daughter when I was 25 but I had a plymouth laser (looks like the older Mitsu Eclipse) then.. That was no fun getting her carrier out of the back.. Last year when I totalled my T-bird I bought the Grand Am.. I love it. Its sporty, and easy to get the kid in and out of..
