Doctors are only human and can make mistakes like anyone else. Are you comfortable placing you health and even your life in your doctor's hands? Do you worry he might make a mistake? Do you trust your doctor completely?

I trust my doctor completely. Our family has been going to the same family doctor for the past sixteen years. He is always willing to listen to my thoughts on things, such as whether antibiotics were really the only solution for various ailments the kids had. If he doesn't know something he says so and he will even look things up right in front of me. He will refer to a specialist if needed and will encourage me to get a second opinion if I am uncertain. He is a wonderful doctor.

Yes, I do trust my doctor and I feel I should be more open to him about myself than any other person.

I agree that doctors are human beings too. That's why I never trusted my doctor one hundred percent. There are so many cases of negligence and caused people's lives here in my country, so I must be careful to what the doctors say. I wouldn't accept it without having a definite answer as to why he advices on certain medical medicine or something like that. I must be responsible to take care of myself.

I did trust my doctor until he abandon me. When my family doctor who ended up saving my life after my ob/gyn almost killed me didn't even come visit me after, to tell me what happened or to see or if I was OK, I'd have to say, I can't trust him at all.
