What is religion to you?

I am a hindu & for many of us Hindu religion is synonymus with the everyday rituals we do like praying,chanting,& folding Hands.But for me religion is a way of life.It is method to keep yourself in check.Be good to yourself as well as to others.No religion in this world teaches you to hate others.it is love only every religion teaches.
I think religion has been misinterpreted in many sense by many people.I think reigidity in a religion is bad & it makes the religion bad & what it is now.

I am a christian, as in a follower of Jesus Christ. I do not go to any specific church denomination. I personally have found that every organization man-kind comes up with ends up losing part of the message of my LORD. I know that HE did not teach hate, or intolerance or any such thing. Love, kindness, charity, giving up of one's self, that is the way for true peace with GOD.
