our prof gaves us a project. the project would be like this, we're going to answer this question" what if god doesn't exist?" he says that we can answer it in some different ways, to whatever we want just to anwer and explain it clearly. we can paint, write an essay or doing unique stuffs. but me, i decided to show my idea through painting. at first, if we're going to ask this kind of question, automatically all of us will say that if god doesn't exist, therefore we don't exist also right? and its correct. but if you guys will explain your answer to this question, what would it be?

My first question to the professor would have been "Which God? Are you talking about the God of a specific religion, or all Gods? And if you're only talking about the God of a specific religion, then can't we just say a different God exists?"
Second, not everyone would say "We don't exist also" because there are plenty of atheists and such in the world who don't believe that any deity had anything to do with creating either the world or us. So you could easily do the project by painting the world exactly as it is now, because that is already what many people believe.

Lecanis, I am curious. The Judeo-Christian God is said to be responsible for the universe. So the Judeo-Christian belief would be that if "God" didn't exist, we would not exist. With your Gods and Goddesses, is it the same mind set. Are they partly responsible for the universe? If you, hypothetically, woke one day to find they didn't exist, would you cease to exist?
I don't know much about polytheism, so I am asking in the context of the post and I know you will give it to me straight.

true, if God doesn't exist i would'nt be doing this because we all not be here.. and if i were to paint my answer, i would show a blank , because that explains it all, nothing would be on this world if God is not here.

The very life is God and the question is hypothetical.
Without God Nothing works. The motivating power of every thing(this means all forces VIZ air, fir , earth water and the sky are manifestations of God.Even if they vanish God continues to exist because all came from God.

IF I woke up one day and found beyond a shadow of a doubt that there was no Supreme being, I would continue to live my life the way I always have. The way I treat others is it's own reward, God or no God. I do not think that God would disapprove of this attitude.
Now, is this a philosphy question. Because the question, "What if God doesn't exist" is not the same as "What if God never Existed." I would take this as, I am here and yet there is no God. I would suggest staying away from creationism. You obviously believe in creationism so consider it hypothetical. What if you woke up one day and found that there was no God? What would you do? How would you react? Would you change anything?
I might also suggest asking your professor his/her motivations. Ask him/her if the scenerio is that we are here without a God. Or if you can take it further.
Good luck

God exists for me because of the Vastness of the Universe. THis planet Earth has existed for many Billions of years. How long would it have lasted without the existance of a Guiding Force?
There are many, many things that could have gone wrong, but its still here spinning merrily on its way around and around the Sun, Year in and Year out!
