I am reading a book called The Rosicrusions Their Rites and Mysteries II. I started volume I at the beginnning of July and have yet to finish this volume.
I would love to be able to read a book a week. Maybe we could start some sort or book reading club on mylot. What do you think? Where we could read the book and then discuss it.

my thoughts exactly to start a book club. What should be our first read? If anyone responding suggest a book then we will vote.

I like the book club idea, though I doubt I'd be able to join in. I hope I get the money to renew my library card soon, it stinks not having it. Good luck, I hope you manage to get it off the ground.

Right now I'm finishing up Moby D*ck. If you haven't read it yet then I definitely suggest it. I avoided it like the plague all through school and up until now and I kick myself for it! After this I have a few "classics" that are on my TBR list, but I'll probably read The Memory Keeper's Daughter next as this is what my book group chose.

I am reading a book, a collection of short stories by Guy Muppusant a french author known for very interesting short stories. I just completed reading Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand. Did you read her book entitled Fountainhead. If not, read it today. You will read it for couple of times. It is simply great.

Right now I am involved in a project that requires deep thinking, so to keep my mind away from the complexities and maybe refresh it, I have started a reread of Jeffery Archers short stories - To cut a long story short. I am also in the middle a book in English by an Asian writer-Lajja by Bangla Desh's Taslima Nasreen, but have kept it aside for some time . Will continue it once I complete my project, probably by Monday or Tuesday.

I am currently reading 'The interpretation of Murder' by Jed Rubenfeld, which is a great thriller set in turn-of-the-century New York and starring Sigmund Freud. Rubenfeld gives a lot of information about psychoanalysis and conveys a lot about social life in 1909. It's really a great read.

Then my libary ard expired and I could'nt afford to renew it, so now I have no choice. I'm curretly on Portal Through Time, which is an awesome Buffy book.

I have just finished Memoirs of a Geisha (the book is getting tattered now i've read it so often lol) and I'm about to re-read The Black Jewels Trilogy by Anne Bishop. I swear to goodness that woman can write a fantasy story like nobody else!

I am currently reading Dark Secret by Christine Feehan. It is part of the Dark series. I've read several books of this series and really enjoy them.
