I'd say my hobby as my work. Stable work is very good but pursuing what you want is the best decision. It may not assure a best result but atleast you've tried. Life is all about taking risk. You should take risk and dont be afraid to pursue your dream.

I think you have an exceedingly healthy outlook on life. Not sure about you but I've found that the people who do what they like to do for a living are usually the ones who become excedingly successful. Too many people are obsessed by forcing themselves into something for the sake of the money and as a result tend to be less good at what they do because they hate it and so don't succeed.
Of course this is all easier said than done. I mean one does have to do alot of unlikeable task during the day. And being broke is an utterly lousy experience that I would not recammend to my very worst group of enemies. The trick, I guess is making what you love to do into a finacially rewarding activtity.

if i were you, i would choose a costume designer if i have enough money for current living.
the basic living is important when you choose your hobby, if you have some money which can afford your living in half of a year, then you can have a try. even if you are not a successful costume designer, then you can find another job, as long as you have the ability.
good luck.

I do both. My dream was to be a writer. I have written two books but still have to work full time until I have a customer base. Can you study while you work? Sometimes it's great to dream or to reach for your goals....but always remember to keep one foot on the ground.
