Show off your Garden Ponds, add your pics here for all to admire

I have put in a few goldfish ponds in my time but right now I do not own this house so I would not want to put in a goldfish pond and then have to rip it out because the landlady did not like it. Plus I am planning on moving to Texas in a few years (hopefully sooner). The ponds that I put in, I dug entirely by hand, most of them over 4 foot deep (to get below the frost line).I dug them by hand because I could not get a piece of machinery up to where they were located. If I did own this place I would definitely put in as large a pond as I could (to cut down on the grass that needs to be mowed).

Wow, your pond is really beautiful! We have a small one right now, I don't have any photos of it with me - my husband and I drive a truck cross country and are not home. We just built a new house and are fixing to move our pond to a new location closer to the new house. We are going to enlarge it and add a waterfall to it this time. I have several large koi and a couple of goldfish in it. I will post photos of it once we get it relocated. At least it won't be quite as hot putting it in this time...when we built the first one, it was July and way to hot to be digging!
