How do you handle yourself when you did an embarrasing thing?

I defnitely laugh at myself. If I am self conscious, I just end up looking awkward, and people start to feel sorry for me, or just act like they weren't witness to my embarrassment. So I put everyone as well as myself at ease, when I brush it off with humor.

Me too, I laugh or try to laugh it off. Sometimes, thinking what an emarrassing thing I did, I also shake my head a lot, calling myself names, repeating over and over what a fool I was. This happens for a few days, then with time, it diminished. When thinking about it later, I laugh again, and curse myself again. This is the process of how I handle my embarrasing moments, until I can't remember it any more.

frankly, i don't know.
once, a friend let me give her money back in the front of many friends, i feel very embarassing and angry. then i give money to her. i don't think she is wrong to let me give her money back, but she shouldn't do like that.
one day, we played a game, and i lost 300 RMB, then i had only 200 RMB with me. because it is raining, so she told me not to withdraw money, then i could give her tomorrow, so ... ...
i feel very embarrassing, but i will not let it happen again.
