why NOKIA battaries are blasting after NOKIA circulated the cautionary measure?

There are lesser companies known for there quality and customer support.Very next day when the indian news channels and media spread that NOKIA battries are defective.Suddenly there were the floods of blasts in INDIA and other places.Before the cautions circulated by NOKIA the total cases of mobile blasts were mere 100,while this alone week there are more than 10 blasts in india.i do not know about the rest of the world how many!!!!!!!! how come this rate of blast is so fast? Are the blasts in real or people are fond of those lens bringing you on the TV?
