What do you think?

Hey! I know this is a wierd thought; however, it came to me the other day: there is no such thing as a future song. As soon as words and notes are written and sung/sang; they are part of the present and past, but cannot be in the future. Are you following me? What do you think, and why. Any opinion is fine; just keep it friendly, please! CH

That does seem not that sensible, unless you are writing a song like this: I will meet you when the sun caresses the hills And when the world is full of joy. All our troubles will be over Life will be our favorite toy. (and so on and so on) (sorry, I am no poet. This is the best I could do on short notice.) So when one is talking about a future song, are they not talking about singing a song that tells of an event in the future, for instances, two lovers who have departed, and will meet each other in a happier time?
