Do You Like the Food Network? What is Your Favorite Show?

I love the food network, and was wondering what others like. I enjoy watching just about every show that comes on there. There are a few that I just don't get into. What are you likes and dislikes?

The food network is great!
I have to say I hate Rachael Ray. Ha ha. Ok well hate is a strong word. If there is nothing else on I'll watch her. I really love Alton Brown. I'm not much a fan of Emril either to be honest.
I think Alton Brown is the best thing food network has and I think they have a lot of randomly dumb shows and that's probably the worst.

Hi Raychill, thank you for being honest. I, myself, have to say that I don't particularly like Alton Brown on Good Eats. Even though he is a genious when it comes to the culinary world, I just don't enjoy his shows. But I do agree with you about Emeril. I used to like to watch him, but he has got to where he cooks some of the most awful looking dishes. I don't see how anyone could want to eat them. Thank You again for responding.

Yes, I do like to watch the food network and I have two favorites- Paula Deen and Rachel Ray. I love both of those shows and watch them as often as I can. I have tried several of their recipes and all have been good!!

Right on girl. I love Paula Deen too. Being from the south myself, I enjoy making some of her dishes. I don't have one of her cookbooks yet, but I have a whole folder of recipes I have downloaded off the computer and made my own cookbook. Thank You for responding.

I watch it at least once a day. My favorites: Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives, Dinner: Impossible, Ace of Cakes, $40 a Day. I don't watch cooking shows as I don't cook.

I love the food network. I really like Good Eats with Alton Brown and I also like Unwrapped. I really don't like Emeril's shows, they get kind of annoying. I also don't like Bobby Flay to much.

Hi ma_belle, thank you for responding. I think alot of people don't like Emeril as well. I know I don't. Sometimes I like to watch Throwdown with Bobby Flay if it's on a topic that I like to cook myself. I also like to watch the food challenge shows. They can make some weird stuff. And thanks again.

I love the food network for two reasons, I love watching the iron chef! Also my daughter loves the cooking shows and is always making what she watches cooked on tv!
