What is Your Favourite Season in American Idol?

absolutely the season when Chris Daughtry participated... he rocks!

season 5, definitely! they were all so insanely talented, it was a thrill to watch each week and see them take the stage--and the eliminations were also pretty thrilling, because they each had their own solid fan club by the time the season was ending...each performance was good, it was like a showdown every week...i loved that season...and i really miss it...(especially my all-time idol, Elliot Yamin!)

Season One, hands down, followed by Season 2 only because of Clay Aiken. I still think he got robbed.

I LOVED season 4..that was the year that i liked the most contestants..i think i liked about half of the top 12. Season 5 was my next fav. I loved Taylor,Elliot and Paris..I dont think anything will ever be as good as season 4 though. It was great. I loved BO!!

Season One because that's the only time where the end result was someone very deserving! As soon as Kelly Clarkson was finally shown on the show I was voting for her! I got fed up and stopped watching when Fantasia won cause she sucks and is nothing but a Macy Gray wanna be! UGH! Well I of course couldn't stay away for long and started watching again but again was ticked when Chris Daughtry was cut because he really deserved to win!!! Taylor Hicks is AWFUL! I can't stand him! Jordan is pretty good but I don't know that she'll have a career like Kelly or anything like that.

I was not able to watch all the american idol seasons... i think i only watch 3... and among the three my favorite is the season where Jordin Sparks became American Idol... Maybe because i love all the ones who made it to the final 12... even Sanjaya...

LOL I just read the first answer. I can't top that but my favorite season was the one with Bo, Constantine, Carrie, et all. I really, really enjoyed that season and actually went to see them on tour. The other seasons were good but that one sucked me totally in and none have felt the same before or since for me. I admit I was a bit sucked in when Daughtry was on. Maybe I just like rockers. This last season, I honestly didn't care much who won. Now, they ALL seem to get contracts anyway so it is sort of a nothing win. It used to feel more special.
