Do you know your university's English name?

Hi,do you know your university's English name?If you do,please share it with us.You can also say something about it,like how does it come from and what do you think of it. The English name of my roommate's university is HangZhou DianZi University,Frankly speaking,it is not a perfect translation for it is not traslated exactly form its Chinese name. And I can neither unerstand why they havn't translated the DianZi into English.But some ways,this name shows what my university like.Because the DianZi majoy is the key majoy in hisuniversity as it is showed in the name.

i know you are from China when i saw your user name at the first sight.:) dianzi,that is electron right?it is a hot major now in China,and people can easily find a job with that major. my university name is quite long,Nanjing University Of Aeronautics And Astronautics,nuaa for short,my major is Mechanical And Electrical Engineering,actually,mechanical.i guess foreign friends can easily know my name coz i think it is translated pretty well.

i saw your profile,you are from singapore? lol,i do feel warmer if we talk in Chinese,but mylot policy said we can only use english publicly here,so others can understand what we are saying.
