When your girl or boyfriend leave for work outside the country, what will you feel? you've been more than 5 years together and never been detached. Almost everyday you see each other, dine together, play, telling stories and problems...
What will you feel not seeing, touching, embracing her her/him for a span of 2 years?
Me? i feel like, i don't exist anymore... dumb... i miss her very very much...

probably in the first month or two i'll feel empty but surely as the days will pass by i will be able to adjust...when your body can adjust to time then you will be able to have your life...it's not true that you will die without the other person, you can feel emptiness but you can still survive.....
i hate to discourage you but most cases long distance relationship will not work, but you can be an exemption to that case if only both of you will be truthful to your vows of love even with the absence of license...fidelity counts much in any form of relationship, once you entertain thoughts of getting involved with someone else other than the one you have committed to remain faithful with it will ruin your relationship..so be faithful no matter how tempting the situation might be and of course pray that your girl will be faithful to you...avoid thinking of losing your trust on your girl but assure yourself that she loves you and that she will remain to be faithful to you until the day you will be together again... making a relationship to work is not your work alone nor her work alone but it must come from both of you...so good luck and keep the love be alive in both of your hearts...two years isn't that long to wait...next day you'll wake up she's there home by your side...god bless

I like your response very much... its so natural and honest. I was really strike on the things that you said here. As you said, i will keep my vow and remain faithful to her. I will always pray for our relationship because i believe that if we put God as the center of our relationship, nothing bad will happen.
Again, thank you very much for your wonderful and meaningful response. Because of that, i give you the best response award. Congrats and Hope to hear from you again. Happy posting!

thanks for the compliments lex...anyway i am positive that you can always work things together even in distance...just make sure you have a constant communication with each other...
just sharing to you some facts: a man can always win her woman back if he wants to because he can always make ways but seldom a woman can win her man back if her man doesn't want to coz a man's decision is always final...
in all you do be positive
but when in doubt never act

well i think that it is a normal reaction to feel lonely and to miss someone you have been with for so long. i think that your girlfriend misses you the same way you miss her. anyways 2 years is not such a long time if you compare it to the 5 years that you have spent with each other. constant communication and connection with each other will help you make it through the veil of loneliness. strive to be the best for your girl so that when you get together again you will be happy.. godbless!

11 days after my husband and I were married in Arizona USA, I had to fly home to Canada, as I'd already been in the USA for three months, and I had to get some papers filed, so I could stay longer. We haven't seen eachother in two months, and that has been very had. I could not imagine two years. I'm going back to Arizona in December for Christmas. It will be wonderful to see him again.

yah... two years it quit very long:( i am counting days and month ever time i wakeup. Good thing is, when i wakeup I open my pc and chat with here often times. We have to take advantage of the technology. I think it is one way to tight up our relationship. I also ask her to pray always for guidance and strength. We are very positive that we can make it...

That happened to me before when my boyfriend had an offer to work far from my place and which means we can't see each other for some months. Like you too, we are inseparable and we both are very close to each other. I cried so hard and it makes me sad. I am just thankful that the offer did not continue and we are still together now.
My advice for you is to keep in touch with her. Email, talk with the phone, chat and go to the internet so that you can still have a communication.

i know it must be hard for u because we get attached to the person ,,we get habituated to the person being beside us and when you share almost everything with each other as u told that u dine and tell stories to each other that is so cute and ya sometimes emotional bonding is more greater than anything else...but dont worry u will get over it

the best would be for you and her if you go for work together...
at first it will be really hard, but why do you need these bad emotions, i still think that you have to go together or don't go at all...
if you really love her, don't let her go alone never ever... :)
