Now, that's a question I just have to really think about. For me, there are two kinds of secrets. There's a kind of secret that as long as you keep it to yourself, it creates an inner havoc within you. A secret that slowly destroy something you believe in for trying to keep it in.
And there's a secret that must remain hidden for everyone's sake.
So, if you ask me can I keep a secret? That depends on what kind it is.
I always keep a secret when I know my total silence will ensure everyone's own peace of mind and that secret will not help anyone anyway.
BUT!!when there is a secret that was given to me and I know that someone is suffering from the consequences of that secret, I don't keep it to myself and I refuse to have it. When I truly feel in my heart, that the secret that was trying to be passed on to me was out of selfishness and a total lack of compassion for others.
There are good and bad secrets. Secrets that can help but there are secrets that can destroy lives. We are given the blessing of having the power to choose. So, let us use that power wisely.

I am a very good friend to my friends. I can always keep their secrets for them without letting them out. Therefore my friends love to talk to me when they have some trouble and I am also a very good listener to them.

secret which will helpful to some one for progress & success can be disclosed but if it is harmful for someons lives than it is better to keep mum. Always share your own secrets with others but never disclose someones secrets he or she had been shared with you.

That's true. Some people make it a habit to pass on secrets that were entrusted to them. And to make matters worse, that secret has a tendency to evolve into something new because it's being passed from oner person to the next.
