I have a wonderful friend with whome I share a wonderful rapport. He is also a bit crazy and tried to make money fast. He borrowed on interest and lent out the same money on higher interest. Those who took the money then refused to pay him back and the loaners were on his back. The situation became so tense that I had to shell out every penny that I had saved to help him out. Of course, he has repaid me slowly over a period of time, but sometimes friends behave soooo foolishly, you could bash them up.

Get rich quick schemes are very difficult to contend with. The ramifications can be devastating as your friend has found out. I am sorry to hear of his problems, and you are such a good friend to help him in the way that you did. I am glad that he is paying you back but your right, sometimes you could just smack them and ask what were you thinking?

My compliments to you for having helped your friend while he was in such a dire need! You are a true friend of his and hope he will appreciate it forever, as such friends are the real treasure in life, and we should keep them dear at all times. And for your friend I also hope thathe has learned his lesson from this happening, and that he will not repeat the mistake... Really good thing you did and God Bless you ;)

lesson learned, don't lend money if the money you are lending is also borrowed money, chances are you will be left holding the bag, this is exactly what happened to your friend. stay away from loan sharks, their main business is lend and collect, and if you don't pay you're in trouble. if ever you need to borrow go to a reputable financial institution they have several packages to offer.

Money is the biggest evil which can spoil any relation....
You have helped ur friend when he was in need.
I'am glad to hear that ur friend has re-paid it slowly. You are lucky to have a true friend. Advice your friend not to be behind fast tracks..

He should have gotten some form of collateral to protect the money that he was lending out. That way it wouldn't be disaster if he didn't get paid. Anyway this is the reason why I don't like the business of lending money. It's so hard collecting the money back. Most people turn evil when it comes to money.

i think to make money in a way that seems you're chasing it has some set backs.
my grandma, told me if you run after money without thinking of the people around you, you could fall in a pit because those aroud you could help you grow or down.
Before taking any venture the environment is a very important factor for consideration and feasibility studies.
you're the best to save your friend from that danger. money is both sweet and bitter. you can make frieds when you're rich and enemies as well.
