Songs of today and songs in the 80s / myLot

Although we are living in high tech world these days, I have to admit that songs before specifically during the 80s are much more likable than songs nowadays. In fact, some of my faves are revivals of the 80s. What's up with music these days?

I agree with you. I like to listen to music of the 80's, and some of today's acoustic music. There are very few new bands or singers that I like.

exactly! same here..majority of my favorite artists and bands are from the pasts not these days. though there are good bands and artists of these days i have to admit. but i have noticed that even people who got bad voice are pursuing the singing career just because they look hot! tsk tsk...theres bias here..

Definitely true, I was born 1976 and have grown up hearing them and I have enjoyed it, though the music of today is cool, the 1980's songs are the best. I just dont like the hair style and the outfits.LOL

I'm in my early 20s but still I prefer songs during my parent's times. They were really nice. Songs of these days are incorporated with bad words, and if not, they may sound hot at first but then would eventually fade off.. yah ur right about the hair style and outfits..they're oldies though most of the style in the past are back and in these days. but much cooler as compared before though hehehe =)

the 80s live on!!!!! I am such an 80s throw back i just love it! ... guarenteed to fill a dance floor if you stick some 80s cheese on! ......... aha wham duran duran wet wet wet well what more can i say! .......... wispa bars.. leg warmers.. roller skate ..bmx .... billy the kid and green baize vampire! ..... oh i could go on for house lol

hahaha high five! we both love oldies music =) they really rock. MOST (not all) of the music these days are corny and while some of them start out as big hit, it immediately fades away. :(
