Proud To Know Them

The Mount Everest Philippine Team was here in my place last August 30, 2007 (Karina Davundon, Noelle Wencesla and Leo Oracion). Hearing straight from their mouths their experiences made me feel so proud of them most especially to Karina Davundon who is from my mom's place- BUKIDNON...they were all jolly and inspiring young individuals who made a good mark for my country especially to those three first filipinas who made it on top of the mount everest....they took all the risk just to make it known that "KAYA NG PINAY" .. i pretty like what leo said, going up to the mount everst is an option but going down is mandatory....
after their one hour talk we took pictures of them and everybody was enjoying and surely they have made a mark in most hearts of our students and employees...
i salute their bravery!

sayang...they are really nice individuals...and their stories are really heart warming especially the story of noelle coz she withdraw all her accounts in the back to buy her father a ticket to tibit coz she wanted him to be the first person to meet her after her expedition....

I agree...they made us feel the undying spirit of the Filipinos...makes us feel proud of our country, and our people...if others can, we too can do it...each of us has summits to climb, but with perseverance, prayers and teamwork, we can do it...yes, the Filipino can!
