But one who will not get angry is a wiseman. First virtue he has is to restrain the tongue. How many of us would like to become wise man/woman? Try it out from today, the world will have greater number of wise people than fools.

That's well said. I agree with that. You see, I am a teacher and it is unavoidable to get angry sometimes for their misbehaviour in class. I still remember the first few years when I started this teaching job after graduation, I was often made to feel so upset for their misbehaviour in class. I thought of ways to help those bad students who wanted to learn nothing but play. Still it was not easy though, let alone students nowadays.
Sometimes I get frustrated, but often or still most of the time I have learnt not to be angry any more. It won't do me any good. It is better to teach and live in a comfortable and leisure style to keep a good health, which is so important to me. Life is short for me to get angry. I cannot find any reason for that. I am glad that I can always keep a positive attitude towards life and work. You are my friend and have responded to many of my discussions and you can see that I am positive, I guess.
Let anger stay far behind us but peace!

I understand your point. Most teachers get angry, because of unruly students. Discipline has become a rare commodity. The new rule that taking a stick, invites legal problem. To have peace of mind it is better to correct the children with love and affection.

I have rather different opinion. One who does not get angry is not a wise but one who gets angry but good control on it,is really wise.Anger just like other qualities of a human. To become angry does not maens to shout but to speak firmly.
If you don't angry at proper point you will loose control.

Well, I'd say that to not get angry is a wise person. But to become a wise person, you don't have to necessarily not get angry. If becoming wise meant that I could never be angry and restrain my tongue, I would rather not. The spectrum of human emotions are there for good reason. Perhaps the trick is to find the wisdom in everything we do, whether it is being angry, sad, happy, etc.
