I agree with you.God will show the way to us and its us who have to reach the destination by our own efforts.
Nothing can be acheieved without putting some effort.Only when we hardwork and reap success we will find a satisfaction of what we get.You have quoted some lines which is the true essence of life.

Actually there are some people who no matter how much efforts they put into it it wouldn't do them any good without some outside help; I'm referring to places like Ethiopia and other African nations where they have such horrible famine and there's no way to get food to the starving people. Generally, I do agree with what you're saying, but there are those who need help. Those who are able to work to support themselves certainly should, and those who are able to help the less fortunate should and should do so willingly because someday they may be the one in need of a little help. Somehow I think that's what God would want us to do.

Some of these poorest african nations, need good leadership like Nelson Mandels, Gandhis to raise them above poverty line. By just giving them food will not help them. It is temporary. What is to do done is a concerted effort by good natured countries to create jobs for all, give them purchasing power and see the change towards good. Thanks for interesting points mentioned in your topic.

I totally agree with that! Just giving them food over and over again isn't really going to help them, you're absolutely right about needing the right leadership so they can learn to help themselves. And the help of other generous nations. God does NOT want us to just ignore and forget about them, don't you agree?

It is like earning a money, you cannot earn if you will not look for a job and work hard. It is all be inside a process.God created the world in seven days with process, all is with process. You will never have something you want, in just a blink of an eye. Unless you have magic. LOL. You have to work hard in achieving something.

Hello Ssh123! I agree with the saying totally that God cannot help anyone who cannot help himself. I believe that God gives us many opportunities in life, but if we don't take it & use it, God is not going to help us in it. If we work hard, then only God can help us in achieving our goal. If we just keep praying to God for success & don't try/work for our success, how can God help us?...vani^_^

He is his own God to help himself. He has to if he meets something that needs to be solved and faced by himself. Like we say you are the master of your own fate or fate is in your own hand. You choose the way of life you like.
