Great old movie...

Legend may not be the best movie out there, but it was a great fantasy movie. I am NOT a Tom Cruise fan, but this is one of the few movies of his that I enjoy (Mission: Impossible and Far and Away are the others). The storyline is simple: a girl (of noble blood) goes to the forest to meet Jack (Cruise), her friend that lives there. When she arrives, he takes her to see the unicorns, the only pair on Earth. When she touches one, it distracts the unicorn enough to allow the forces of Darkness (Tim Curry) to kill it. This causes the world to plunge into winter, and it is up to Jack to save the mare unicorn, and recover the horn of the stallion so that the world will be saved. If you enjoy fantasy films, and you have not seen this one, I highly suggest it. Just make sure that you see the theatrical (US) version, for it is much better than the director's cut, and I hear that the international version has a dubious scene that you may or may not want to see.
