Where you suppose to do something but ended up doing something else ,only to find out it was for the better?I was at a bar one time, when 2 of my friends(my friend and her boyfriend)asked me to go to her house for a party.I said yes.I decided to go to the bathroom but ended up talking to someone and they came and asked me if i was ready.I said "no.....(thinking)i think i will stay here till closing"15 minutes later we heard the ambulance go by.The next morning i heard the news.My friend and her boyfriend died in a accident when he lost control of the vechicl leaving the road and hitting a big oak tree on a mans property. It was a closed funeral.I could of been there too,but something had changed my mind. The day was September 9th,2004.I think about this all the time about "what"changed my mind and that it wasnt my time or what?Have you had some kind of experience like this?

Been there, done that, got the T shirt. Well actually it was a medical gown. Can't say I remember anything from the other side but I do know those paddles they use leave a burning sensation for a while. Clear Zaaap , Clear Zaaappp....

Actually it didn't. They'd already covered me up & were filling out the paperwork when I just sat up. Its not the first thing that I've survived when I shouldn't have been able to but its the only one to that extreme.

A couple fatal car accidents left me with nothing more than internal bleeding. Once my ex was trying to run from the cops and wouldnt pull over we were going 130 when he made an immediate stop at an intersection attempting to turn left, instead he skid right into the light pole on power and ray in arizona and the cars engine dropped immediately thankfully, otherwise it would have killed me, then my ex pushed me out of the car and ran off. A second fatal accident is when I fell asleep driving down the 60 freeway, thankfully there was no one else on the freeway but I dont even remember getting on the on ramp before I broke through the wire median to the other side of the freeway and woke up on the opposite side of the freeway in the dirt. OMG I thought it was a miracle I survived! No more of those days! Now I just dont drive and dont date maniacs lol.

To make matters worse, he had just totalled my mothers new corolla that she let me borrow, oh I remember nothing but shame that night, thankfully I was ok, I was only drove to the hospital, one guy in back was flown to the mental hospital and the other was flown to the hospital. I couldnt believe I had survived all that, the pole went through the middle of the car but the driver got it the worst and it was his choice to put us in danger. He has now been exited out of my life for many years.

Wow--peanutjar it definitely wasn't your time to go then was it? No I never had anything like that happen to me, but I did know someone. This was a guy I knew some years ago, and he decided to adopt one of our numerous kitties we had. I hadn't heard from him in something like two years when out of the blue he called me. He said number one, that my cat that he adopted from me was a lifesaver, as he had fallen into a deep, deep depression and nothing was helping him...his friends tried to cheer him up, his family, he went to a therapist..nothing helped but the unconditional love the cat gave him. The reason he fell into such a depression was this: One night, a Monday, he was out with his buddies and drank heavily at a bar...he told me he woke up to a real humdinger of a hangover and called in early at his work place to tell him he wasn't going to come in today. Well, maybe it was some weird fate, that he got drunk the night before, had the hangover and called in "sick" cause if he hadn't he wouldn't have been alive...that Tuesday, the day he called in sick was September 11, 2001, and yes, he worked at the World Trade Center!
