Not Tagging Discussions

Hi,
Does our MyLot earnings get affected if we do not tag a discussion ?
Or is tagging just a way of identification of discussions and nothing more ?

You have to put tags on your discussion because it also adds to your points.anyway it is easy to come up with keywords as you answer the discussion, it would only take a while to do it, say about 20 seconds.
