Actually I got my dog from a friend of mine, and when I had got it, it was just 1 month old.. I just kissed it when I got it.. We put his name after a dog which once had featured in a movie, and that name was quite cute one as well.. So, we all didn't think twice before naming him... He's been a darling to my family ever since.. We just love him too much.. He's such a sweetheart... Everyday, I take one or two photos of him playing in the lawn... He's looks so sweet when he's just to himself...

There is nothing cool about how I got the dog but the name has a story behind it. The first day I got my dog (a goldendoodle) he found a marker in my desk and rubbed it all over the wall!

We have two dogs. Blackie is a black lab mix that my husband got while he was still in high school. Someone he knew found her dumped on the side of the road and couldn't keep her, so they gave her to my husband. I think someone else named her, but I'm not sure.
Our small dog is a terrier mix named Trixie. We got her from the Humane Society shortly after we got married. I already loved Blackie, but I wanted a small dog that would cuddle and sit on my lap so we went in search of one at the shelter. The first time we went, we didn't see any we liked that were small. I even told my husband that I would settle for a big dog if we found one with a good personality when we went back. The second time we went in, we were looking, and we were about to give up, when one of the workers told us that they did have a small dog in solitary confinement because she was sick. We went and saw her and she was just the cutest thing. She was sneezing and barking and wagging her tail like crazy. They had been calling her Trixie. After she met Blackie (the next day) and we decided to bring her home, we were considering changing her name. The first night we had her, there was a big storm and she kept jumping in bed with us, and we kept putting her back on the blankets with her new sister. Finally after several times of doing this, I decided I was too tired (I was pregnant and cranky!) to keep dealing with it so I said okay "Tricky little Trickster you can stay in bed." and we decided that Trixie the Trixter made a great name for her.

I have two dogs. The first is a cocker spaniel that I've had for almost 13 years. I had been bugging my mom for years to get me a dog and she finally gave in when we were in a pet store. I called her Destiny because I thought that I was Destined to get this exact dog.
My second dog was a gift from some students because they knew I wanted a second dog. I had seen her and fell in love with her. My husband and I were back and forth as to whether a second dog was actually a good idea so when we chose to take this dog with called her Maybe. She has been a perfect fit in our family and Destiny loves her new baby.

My mother gave my dog to us. Becuase my kids love it. They are the ones also who gave him a name. They play with him most of the time. He is their friend.

I got my first dog in 2004. I had to travel quite a distance to buy him. I traveled up one Friday evening, after work and stayed in a hotel that night. The next day I went to see the breeder and go my dear little puppy. I had only had a description of him on the telephone before. He looked so sweet and furry, with lovely unusual coloring. Wow! His name is Secret Party Circle and I call him Secret for short. This is because he has many black circles some hidden in his coat. Parti color is description for his coloring.
I got my second dog in 2006. I managed to get her from a nearer breeder but it took a whole day to get there and back. She was with her mum that looked just like her only bigger. She was so tiny and cute looking. She is plain black in color. I called her Magic Mayflower. Yes, she did try to eat flowers when she was a puppy!
