to work for. I have through people, first hand, and through the internet that Lush doesn't always treat its employees great. What have you heard? I'm just curious if this is true or not. I know the lush employees on the forum rave about working there but I still wonder. do their stories change after they worked there? what do you think?

I work there.
there's a few niggles, but no more than any other retail job. If I had more hours it would be a perfect job, in all honesty. I love working there, and every minute on and off the shop floor, I have a smile on my face. my only complaint is that I don't have full time, or even what I would consider to be proper part time.
but the staff discount is just unrivalled.
I think it depends a lot on your individual shops manager.

I visit Lush regularly and all their staff seem to love it. I've had them specifically say they love working there more than once too. Whether that is more due to the discount than the working conditions I don't know!

I buy from LUSH and they seem to be a big happy family but who knows what really goes on in their factories and stores? I wouldn't be surprised if things weren't all that great working there. The company loves the money (The prices they charge are crazy but we still buy!) and maybe they don't want to share their big profits with the employees.
I hope the employees are treated well but would not be in the least surprised if they didn't. Many companies seem great but, behind the scenes, things are bot great at all.
