Where were you when you heard Steve Irwin died?

I was at home getting ready to leave on vacation. My husband told me about it and I just about died. I cried so hard. I even put my suitcases back in my room and wasn't even going to go on my vacation, I was so distraught. I had a dream that morning that something happened to someone and it had to do with the name Terri. I wasn't about me, it was about the Irwin family. I know that is hard to believe but when my hubby told me, I was numb. It is what I dreamed about...I was supposed to go visit my family, but I didn't leave until later that night... I can't believe it has been 1 year today..He was such a great person and his family is still doing what he loved...The Crocodile Hunter, Steve Irwin died September 4, 2006.

I was here at home, messing around on the computer like I always do, when I heard about Steve Irwin passing. He was truly an unique individual, and I'm glad that his family is continuing to keep his legacy alive. Although at times his antics annoyed me, I feel he was an inspiration to many.

He was an inspiration to many..He sure did have his own way of teaching though. I still watch his shows.

That is what I believe made him so unique. He's style of teaching really grab people's attention and held it. It's a shame that he is now gone from us, but at least hopefully his teachings with stay with many generations to come.

Wow...a whole year has passed? Seems like yesterday.I was listening to my mom's tv from the next room, when it came on the news.Unfathomable, really, when someone is so bold, and does so much, for something so freakish and unexpected to actually do them damage. He had character, which a lot of people simply don't these days, he entertained and taught and respected. I think his kid is incredible. He is missed!!

I was in the car driving home with my mom when I heard the news about Steve. It was a big shock since I had just been watching his show the other night. It still makes me sad to watch the Cocodile Hunter and see him being so lively and passionate about his work. Now I watch Bindi the Jungle Girl and it amazes me how much she looks and acts like her dad.

I was just at home and the news flashed over the television, I went numb and couldnt believe it at all....I am still so very sad to this day..Its horrific and such a waste of a life that was doing so much for the animals.....They were making suggestions to have a Steve Irwin Day...How cool is that...

I was in a gym changeroom getting ready for a workout. They had TV's in the changeroom of this gym. When the news broke all these guys were coming out the showers naked listening to it. It was pretty disgusting, naked men everywhere. I quickly got changed and then watched the news whilst I did my workout.
