Has anyone heard of this high speed "Wild Blue"?????

It is a satalite dish that they install in your yard so that you can get high speed internet service..It does not go through your phone service...Our phone service does supply their customers with high speed,but where i live, high speed internet has not come to my area so in order to get high spped internet on my computer you have to get a satalite dish..Its something like "Dish network " for your Tv,except this is for your computer...I have always had dialup all these years,but now through this dish that they will install people who live in rural area;s that cannot get high speed internet through their local phone service can now get this...I have suffered with this slow dialup for so long,that i am so excited to get it....No its not new, satalite has been out for a very long time..Its just the name of the satalite company that i am going to be using....I do hope i have made this where you can understand,becaus eits hard to explain ,and im not to good at explaining..thank you for your reply.

Oh polly you are so luckey.I have never had anything but dialup all these years...Our phone company has high speed but not in the area i live in...it cost over $300.00 for the start up for this but monthly it will be around 50.00,and its all because i live in the area that i live in..Its outside of Houston Tex ,like sorta country type living, i have a couple of acres and i like living here,so i am so excited to finally get high speed..I cannot wait until it gets here(the equipment....I have suffered with dialup long enough lol...
