When do you buy shoes for winter?

The winter is coming and the warm shoes for winter is normally much expensive than other shoes. I usually bought the warm shoes in other seasons instead of in winter which save me at least 50% of the cost in shoes. My experience tells me the good discount I can get for warm shoes is in summary, what's your opinions?
