What kind of natural disasters do you get where you live?

I live in Florida and every year my family and I have to prepare for hurricane season. Hopefully this year we won't get hit too badly. What kind of natural disasters happen in your area?

Thank God the country I live in is sheltered from natural disaster! We don't have earthquake, vlocanos, hurricanes, typhoon. I live on a small island in South East Asia, can you guess where I'm from?

We get floods every few years here. I remember one time I got evacuated from my apartment with my daughter and I went accross town to my parents house and it was as dry as could be there. So some parts of our town flood easily, but other than that we don't relly get any other disasters.
