Why is it that you can't find something when your looking for it....

HA HA HA!! I'm not laughing at you, Laurla! I'm laughing with you!!! I'm still looking for my box of envelopes... AND the NEW box I just purchased!

It is a firm rule of Murphy's Law that the very moment you need something, that is the very same moment that it will vanish into thin air! LOL! :) Last week, I was close to demolishing the kitchen because I was looking for my special muffin baking pans- I had just read some incredible recipes from my new baking cookbook, and I wanted to try them out over at a friend's place... Well, I looked everywhere, and even started thinking that I must have accidently thrown my muffin pans away! This was really beginning to make me angry, so I kind of calmed myself down and went back into the kitchen... The damn pans were UNDER the cookbook that I had just finished reading! LOL! :) I hope that it's a nice place they are taking me to, when they come to get me... I think I can hear them now... Have a great day, and I hope you find your envelopes! yeah it happens to me also but not most of the times, once or twice. and what i did is go back from where i been and then all of a sudden i remember what im looking for, you have to try this too.

This is what we say: when you need it, it won't show up. When it is not needed, it just shows up. I often have this kind of experience. It makes feel good when it finally appears before me.

I absolutely know how extremely frustrating this feels like. It seems as if someone unseen (a powerful and crazy jester, perhaps) is happily trying to make fun of me. However, this momentary feeling of nagging anxiety becomes immediately replaced with a real sense of relief once I inadvertently come across the thing I've been looking for, provided I haven't bought a replacement, of course. To prevent this from happening again, though, I feel that organization is the key. Personally, I discovered that I easily recall where I placed my things when I started to organize my things. Apart from being more organized, I think that improving your memory (probably by playing games that would truly tap the great power of your memory, among other relevant exercises) would also really help you in easily recalling where you put your stuff. Hi Laura98, Ugh!! Yes I have done that many times. Always losing things which is why I try to put things where they belong. The latest was I had a one of those bracelets that people wear that has saying on them, but mine was just an orange bracelet, and I wanted to wear it and couldn't find it at all. Finally I decided to go out and buy another whole package and within a few days, guess what I found?? GRR, yep, the old one. so now I have 2..
