why are you here?

I am here to learn and to help. I have learned about everything from declawing cats to a fabulous funnel cake recipe. and I also have helped some, by looking at my best response, more than I even knew. ( and yes, even though the pay isn't life supporting, it is an added benefit. lol)

Understandably, this must really be very annoying, ladybug565. In response to your main question, though, I'm here mainly because I want to improve my writing skill. I truly feel that whatever I read about writing, I would never improve, unless I write. Theory and application, I feel, would be a perfect combination that could potentially help me in eventually achieving my goal. Apart from improving my writing skill, though, I just want to make use of myLot to express my thoughts and feelings about anything under the sun, since it obviously is a very good venue to discuss things with people (the reasonable ones, that is). I also want to learn more about my fellow myLotters, who come from different countries that have varying cultures, since I believe that I could really gain a wide range of insights about different things, which, in turn, could perhaps help broaden my understanding of myself and others. Sometimes, I visit myLot simply to make productive use of my time, especially when I do not have more important things to attend to. I honestly hope that my insights could be of help in furthering this very interesting discussion. Have a great day and happy posting too, ladybug565!

OK OK OK i saw the discussion but didnt want to respond as i have seen such meaningless resons before too. i just scrolled past, but now that you mention it, i'll just go back and go thru it and the 'ping pong' between you both. i just love to read these. and pls dont get angry with me, i support you totally on this and i just ignore such people

I am here to discuss things with others as well as earn a little pocket change. I don't like it when there is name calling (I've seen this a few times) and I tend to avoid those types of discussions/responses. No one needs to resort to name calling on here. And those that do this need to get their account banned or at least get a warning from the MyLot staff that if they do it again that their account will be terminated. Just my two cents.

Hooray for you!! Vent all you want... some of this holier- than-thou has touched everyone, and it needs to stop. Most people are here to have a good time, not push their own beliefs onto the world. I don't think anyone will miss it if it just goes away!

I agree. I like MyLot and enjoy the discussion's but some ppl seem to only be here to pick fights and be hateful. I've been mostly staying away from certain topics b/c some ppl can't stand to let you have a different opinion without it turning into a full fledged war. **AT PEACE WITHIN** ~~STAND STRONG IN YOUR BELIEFS~~

I agree with you if they are calling people names then this is not the place for them. Some people are not happy and they want to spread their unhappiness everywhere. It is unfortunate to see that kind of people in myLot.

Well I go on mylot because I have a fun time here I love some of the post that people make even though that the majority of post I have seen arent that great and I really dont want to post to them. But the best thing about this place is that we get paid bascically to have fun and thats pretty much the one reason I love coming on here lol.

I've broken a few rules by accident, not on purpose, but I would never get mad or call people names. However, if I see someone picking on some one else, especially if it is a friend they are picking on, although I know I should stay out of it, sometimes I chip in to "help" lol. But really, we are all guests of myLot here and as long as I'm in myLot's house I do try to be a good house guest.

Hi ladybug. At first, my main reason for joining was the payment that was promised. But now that I'm here for 2 months now, I have to say, my main reason for being here now are the friends I've met. Actually, I spend more time, browsing through my friends discussions and simply enjoy reading them.

I love the discussions here and even though I may not be well versed on most of these things I can still palce my opinion abnd not judged for it. I love to write and when I meet on a discussion that I can handle it gives me pleasure to give my thoughts on the matter and facts if I have them at hand. Dont have much friends here but the dicussions are truly enlightening and I learn from people too. Its a good site to be though overall and I do enjoy seeing my little earnings increase.

As you can tell by my numbers, I am fairly new here (like a week). I haven't run into anything like this yet, though I tend to just get into/read the discussions I know I little about or can relate to. I originally signed up because I thought this was a "make money at home" site. Which it kind of is I suppose. But after 'looking around' it feels a little more like a neighborhood, a message board that happens to have an added bonus...they pay you. I stick around because I am having fun. I have also learned a few things in the short time I have been here.

I am here because I want to help other people through sharing of ideas and other things like that.

there are so many mylot people dont have manner, if they feel the topic is worthless, dont post at it.

I am here for the simple reason of enjoying having friends, sharing ideas and setting up good discussions. I love learning from the discussions and I have my spare time and I want to earn as well that will help me.
