Hello to all that prove the beauty of a global community

After years of wishing for this day it now arrives. How beautiful it is to read through the custodians of this website and see a florishing global community. after losing friends in the second world war it makes me want to weep with tears of joy to see this wonderful multi cultural coming together as one.
i do not know much of the fankles of the modern world but would welcome your friendship on this site and to be allowed to put across a comment or two if i may.
Please accept my friendship so as i may join in conversations as i relish all the bonding of different religions and know that all the fighting was not for nothing.

It is a great thing to see one of those wonderful people who fought so hard for our freedom here on the site. I too am a new member and I agree with you that it is a great thing that so many people can come together in harmony. I added you as a friend if that's ok?

And I look forward to hearing it! I'm a History and Politics student so I try to look for new perspectives everywhere I go. I think that the older generation have a viewpoint that's often overlooked these days even though it is as valid as our own so I'm going to enjoy hearing what you think about life, the universe and everything!
