Hello rb200406,Your post has error, there has been no ban on yoga in any country .Vicars of two local churches one is the silver street Baptist Church and Saint James Angelican church's hallroom were used for yoga trainng classes for children, but these two church authorities has banned it saying that only the chirstians have the the rights to use their church premises and no other religion ethos are allowed.Dont worry these two churches has already under severe critisicm from Christians and different churches all around the world.Ignorance is the real source of all problems.

there hasn't been a ban on yoga in Western countries - they're probably just confused about reports over a UK church complaing about a yogo group using their hall because they view it as being un Christian

I have not heard anything of this kind, but if it is so, i am astonished. How can they stop someone to be healthy. And is it banned legally? I don't find any sense in this.Actually Yoga is the best way of exercise with best results. It is less vigourous exercise and can be followed by any age group.
