My little monsters are in school now and it is so peaceful at home and I am loving every minute of it. I am more excited than they are I feel like sometimes it's so weird. Are your little ones in school for the first time? How do you feel about it?

Yes, two of mine are in school. Third and fourth grade. I was very excited too, they were not of course. They are a boy and girl, and they were getting to the point of fighting constantly everyday day after day, after day, after day.....
Anyway I was looking forward to the quiet for a few hours, and also getting my house back in order after three months of craziness!!

yes my daughter just started first grade.. and even though it is her 4th day there today i am still sad and blubbering like a baby every chance i get... shes been an only child for the last 6 years and my world has been nothing but her. and it is lonely... sure i get things done around the house more quickly and eficently but then that just leaves the rest of my day a bore.. theres not a whole lot i can do around here, we live in a small town, my husband works 4 towns away and we only have one vehicle and hsi hours and her hours collide with one another so i am left home regardless... in a few months i will give birth to my twins and i know that things here will get hetic.. but still i miss my baby girl!!

My boy started kindergarten and I hate it. I was planning on homeschooling him and my Hubby decided at the lats minute that he needed to be in school. There was no time to prepare at all. I felt so rushed and we had no time to get him excited. I know he will be okay but the rush of it all was stressful.

My daughter is thirteen, but I am so glad she is back on a normal schedule again! I would have to constantly get on about staying up too late and sleeping in through the morning. So, it's not so weird, but she was excited about going back to school. I remember when she first started going to school, I missed her so much and it hurt my heart to drop her off at school, but now it is old hat.
