One of my classes is playing a game where we have $100,000 to invest in stocks. I have found about $70-80k worth of stocks that I want to invest in, but I am still looking for another 1 or 2 stocks to fill the void. The only requirements are no stocks under $5 per share, and it must be a US based company. Any advise is welcome no matter how experienced or unexperienced you are. Thanks!

Which game are you playing? I'm international economy student, in my last year of studies and just curious. I do learn now on how to trade forex, and combining of fudamental and technical analysis cause i got theory at univesity as much as i want. But now look into some other ways to do the thing that i always wanted, to trade on a stock market.
As on what stocks to trade. try bigger and well known companies. It is easier to get news on them, because stock market has its own ups and downs, and in order to act on time you must know the lastest news in industry and in your country economy.
