If it is biting or scratching, as in you or another human, a light bop on the head is a good deterrant. Another good way is to keep a spray bottle handy and when she disobeys, spray her immediately. If you wait to punish her, it will only confuse her.

You cannot really discipline a cat. They have a free will and will only do as they please.
If you discipline a cat by force... the only thing you will achieve is for it to get scare of you... and then you won't be able to manage it at all as it will run away from you.
You can somewhat manage your cat with a lot of patience. I taught my cat the meaning of "No". If he jump on something... I only have to say "No" once with a firm voice... and he will jump off. But that took many years. He is eight years old.
One way which is supposed to work with a young cat... is to lift him off by grabbing the back of its neck. That is how the mother grab their kittens when they are naughty. If you do it... they remember their mother doing it and associate it with naughtiness.
Water can work. But some cats like mine are use to water. He walks in the rain and could not care less about water.
All in all... from my personal experience... if you are nice to your cat cent per cent of the time... he will learn to respect you without you doing anything. But it is a learning curve which develop over many years. And while you are nice to him... you still need to be firm with him... but by using a firm tone of voice only. You must never hit him.

If you tap them on the nose, that pisses them off lol, try not to bop anyone on the head we dont need a guilty consious, spray bottles work like butter works on brocolli!

Well to be honest it is virtually impossible to train a cat. They are not like dogs who perform tricks and acknowledge you as their "master". Cats are clever, independant, wilful creatures. They live their own lives, they do what they want, and they grace you with their presence, not the other way around! In my experience (I have 6 cats) you just let them do ther own thing.
