When a person done something bad on you, do you fight back?

My former boyfriend fits the description of one who has hurt me badly because he was a two-timer. Actually, he was more than that. After a couple of days when I broke up with him, my friends who were also my officemates told me that they believe that he's a cheater because they saw him with someone else. My ex and I were in the same office then, but I resigned from the company more than a year from that day we broke up. I learned that he had more than one fling, aside from the brave lady who confronted me in the phone while I was in the office. Over the years, I've come to forgive him. My only prayer for him is that somehow, he learned his lesson already.

I have never fought back. I knew he was going to kill me. I had no proof. But the god punished him three tim harder than I got affected from him.

I explain to him and his family members. I also inform all his friends. Later I do not entertain him for any reason. he is not invited for any social function and get togethers, unless he comes up with apologies.

me?? i will forgive them of course, i'm not the type of person who fights back or take some revenge after he/she had hurt me. I will forgive those people who had hurt me, God can even forgive them even He is God, how much more if i am just a human being?

that has happened a few times with me , but ultimalely as tie goes by i tend to forget and sometimes feel sorry too fo them because GOD'S retribution is something to be thought about, i purpuusly forgive because i know that if GOD get's angry only GOD help and so i forgive. smiles, apple.

I'm a fighter so usually I'd fight back (tats in my genes). Of coz I would try to forgive and pray for them and hopefully God forgives me for fighting back in the first place ha ha ha... I'd say I'd fight back FIRST then pray for them LATER... he h ehee... cheers.. myhandbaghaven.blogspot.com

it depends on how he/she has done something wrong. If you ask me, i will gradually forgive someone who has stolen something or like that. But I never can forgive someone who has played with me emotionally. I may not take revenge, but either not forgive. I will pray GOD give him/her ultimate punishment.

I don't fight back but I make sure I say what's inside me and let them know they hurt me badly. Vengeance is not mine :) I forgive them I don't keep grudges..It would make my journey into this world a hard one if I keep them :)

Depends upon the situation, if im on the right side i would probably fight back just to prove him/her that i am right. Sometimes i do fight back with words. If she/he hurt me by saying bad words to me. I cant fight back because i dont say bad words all I do is cry and keep quite. But hurting me physically which never happens to me so far. Maybe i will report it to the police so that they are the one in charge of it. I will not pray for him/her to receive any punishment.
