i suspect there may be someting wrong with my motherboard Abit NF7
But in a few tries, it can work normally once.and when startup,it works smoothly.
my English is poor,it may be not discribed clearly,
who knows the reason, and what can i do on it.Thanks a lot for help~~

hhmmm...
1. check your power cable
2. power socket
3. your processor and the heat-sink, might be out of heat-sink gel. heat-sink gel enable the heat from the processor to spread through the heat sink. if no heat-sink gel is left, the processor will be come too hot. and in most cases, pc shut down, or will not boot up. but, when the processor cools down, you might be able to boot it up again and run.
4. your motherboard capacitor, have a look, some might have already swollen up. it's time to change your board.
5. might be virus attach.
but in my experience, most likely is number 3 & 4

thank you very very much for your professional answer,
i also think one of the capacitors on the motherboard may be invalid.
And can i found the one which invalid by self?
and can it be restored ?

when the capacitor is "invalid" or swollen, for what i know, you have no choice but to buy a new motherboard... sorry for the bad news... :)

These bad capacitors can be replaced, I tried this
with a jetway board, replaced 10 bad capacitors and
was successful. Replacing bad capacitors is easy if
you have electronics background

A problem that is only part time is hard to figure out. What OS are you using? If it is Windows XP it has many self diagnostic modes.
First I would check all the connections between your monitor & the main unit. Make sure all connections are solid & the connectors are clean. Since it does start up normaly sometimes, next time it does try wiggling the cable that connects the monitor to the computer & see if you can make it repeat the problem. If you can, then you have probably found it. If you could be more descriptive of what it does wrong that may help me to help you.
