Christmas Lists - did you ever do this?

It's BER months again and whether we like it or night Christmas will come soooon. LOL! Yeah, I know it's still too far to think about Christmas but I'm making my list now. List of the gifts for my family and godchildren. I dont want to be stress of Christmas holiday. I wanted to enjoy it just like what I do when I was a kid but because of the Christmas rush I sometimes forgot that me too should be enjoying. I want everything to be ready before it came so I'm making my Christmas list as early as Sept.
How about you? Are you doing this kind of stuff? How can you make sure that everybody close to you has a gift? Do you feel also the Christmas stress? Do you have suggestions on this?

i used to make list but every time i made them i never bought the items on the list or i always seemed to run out of cash i still forget the real world has taxes which suck for christmas shopping at times

I don't think you are too far ahead by thinking of Xmas at this time of the year. My Mom gave me a valuable tip that I have carried on with. I actually start my Christmas shopping during the Boxing Day sales. The cards cost very little...they have lovely gifts for a fraction of the price as well.
I start placing them in a big box at the top of our linen closet. Then around this time of year I begin going through them and match appropriate choices with those who would most enjoy them. This approach also comes in handy throughout the year. If I need a birthday gift there might just be one in my special box. I also make sure that I have a variety of everyday greeting cards so I can quickly wrap a gift, write on a card...even if I forget a special event.
At the end of the year I make a list on my computer about the gifts I gave so I can make sure each person receives something unique every year. To keep stress down I write on and send out all my cards by the beginning of December and wrap gifts early too. They are all placed under the tree in gift bags so I can hand them to loved ones and watch their happy faces! That is the best gift of all!
