With the filing for divorce by Shaquille Oneal and his wife, another celebrity has fallen victim to the statistics. Sounds like it might get unpleasant. All of these divorces do kind of shake my confidence in marriage. There are not many that can hold up under the pressures of high-profile career demands. I am sad to hear of this because I was under the impression that the marriage was solid. Just goes to show, I guess.

My husband and I were surprised too. We are big fans of Shaquille O'neal and i was surprised to read about it online! Your right though, sounds like its going to be a messy one even though they did have a pre-nup! I feel for the kids the most!

Yes, maddysmommy, I sure hope that they remember the kids and keep the mudslinging to a minimum, for their sakes. Here I was thinking that they had one of the most stable marriages in celebrityland, and now this!

From the latest new articles there was talk of her infidelity and the mismanagement of some serious amounts of money,something about her spending like $650k on a home for some persoanl trainer,not a good move when you have a 7ft 2, 325 lb husband.I just feel bad for the kids b/c you've always seen Shaq being a good father and role model to not only his kids but others as well
