how often do you use your own pictures in forums like this? do you upload someone else's picture and use it as your own identity? You do it to hide yourself (safety)? you do it for fun? or what the hack, people won't know i am...

yes, i guess, it all depends on individuals. And for me, it also depends on the forum or space that i'm joining. In this case, i guess, if you view my profile, you'll know how i look like, that i'm from Malaysia. and definately my age. However, you definately don't know my mobile phone number, my address, my credit card number, my wife, my kids.... what i like to do in my free time, and the list goes on... anyway, back to the topic...
on the other hand, yes, definately do not give out any of your personal information on the web. Yes, it's dangerous, unless you really really know what you are doing, and what the consiquences are..... there are cases of identity thefts, kidnaps, frauds, scams... erhmmm, i think i better stop there, don't wanna scare you all....

Well, I do paste my own picture in evry account that I'm making. Doesn't matter whether it's important or not. Because I rather someone known or recognized rather than being anonymous. It's better to put a face behind a name, that's what I've believed in.
And as long as I know my limitations, nothing bad will happen in my identity. ~_^

I have to admit i am quite irresponsible when it comes to putting pictures and personal information on the internet. This picture is my daughter and i also use my own. I have pics of my daughter on my "my space" and her father told me to take them off but i didn't.
