Arrange marriage / lovemarriage

often saying marriages are made in heaven by god but performed on earth.i just want to now that god really make some arrangments with whom we love and shares life when we born on earth.no doubt marriage is a necessity.in india this is a true fact that 80%of marriages are arrainged by our parents and gaurdians.and only 20%of the marriages are love marriage. love the really the most important ingredient without which marriage cant breath.i have done arrange marriage and some how i feel defeciency of this ingredient lack of it.i feel if have performed lovemarriage earlier i was rather more happy than now.what u thinkabout this?u believe in which marriage?

I belive in love and to me thats the only way to get married. I dont say its wrong to do it when other countries practice this but if its done by force or the girl is too young or there is a huge differece in age that makes me think twice.

The whole arranged marriage idea is so foreign to me. I can't imagine marrying someone that was picked for me. I couldn't do it. I need to love the person I share my life with.
I suppose one could get lucky and learn to love the person chosen for them but it is a real toss up as to how things work out.
Definitely love is the main ingredient to marriage along with compatibility and respect.
