which combination do u prefer for mu? 4-4-2 or 4-5-1?

4-4-2

i think 4-4-2 is the best option for united because teves' height is below 180 cm which in my opinion is not enough for attacking especially for counter attack situation. teves need another striker with 180 cm minimum height to hold on the ball longer for giving the opportunity for midfielders or wing backs to do overlap in counter attack situation and also to provide teves' chance for creating goal. i recommend anelka to replace solskjaer to add more striker in united squad.

I find the 4-4-2 as the best strategy. It is simple and superb.

Manchester United are Most successful at the 4-4-2 combination :) with rooney and tevez upfront , Ryan giggs , Cristiano Ronaldo , Hargreaves , Anderson ( to be replced By Paul Scholes when he gets fit ) in the midfield and Rio Ferdinand , Vidic , Brown ( to be replaced when Gary Neville gets fit ) and Evra in the back four . this is the team . and formation that Manchester United is Most Successfull with :)

I think that man u need to get tevez and saha up front and let talent like anderson have a chanced in midfeild. Therefore nani ronaldo carrick hargreaves scholes and gigs will have to perform for thier position and man u should play better

Man U traditionally under Sir Alex excel in 4-4-2. Even we win the treble using 4-4-2. Who can forget the days when we have Yorke-Cole as first option partnership and Solskjaer-Sheringham as second option. We started to try 4-5-1 since that 4-5 loss to Real Madrid sometime in 2001. The problem with 4-4-2 is Man U doesnt have enough strikers similar to 1998 teams

it's really depond on the injury of players.now ,rooney can not play ,but tevez is a new player in mu.so 4-5-1 will makes tevez lack of suppottion from the middle feild.if saha can play for the whole match,i think 4-4-2 is better.saha has a good heading and he is much more powerful.if he can attract more deffencer,tevez could make more goals.when rooney comes back ,4-3-3 is a good new way!both nani and anderson are young,when the important game comes,i think giggs and scholes must play for half of the match at least. hargreaves is a good CDM ,better than carrick.and i think CAM is suitable to carrick. in my opinion,4-5-1 is the only best combination for mu,but when saha can play for the whole match,4-4-2 is better!

the most dangerous winning formation of manutd is 4-4-2 with great winger,i think man utd cant effective with single striker....even is very oldiest formation but that man utd.
