I have tried wordpress. But it was only once. I got busy though, that's why I slowed down in blogging. Wordpress helped me when I was just starting.

Yes I agree wordpress is much better for blogging because it's easy to use and customize themes, I downloaded a free theme and I easily redesigned my presentation. wordpress is much secure. but some wordpress themes have a code for copyright of the designer from the footer. I know how to do that stuff. if you want to know it just email me on my blogsite... http://blog.pinoyitpro.com/

For pure blogging purpose, it is adviceable to use Wordpress. Joomla is a full-featured content management system which is way beyond the purpose of normal blogging tools. Unless you plan to expand your blog to include communities, file management, polls, surveys, complex article handling, then only you should use Joomla.

As far as I know Wordpress is for Blog
only, Joomla is a CMS and I beleive Wordpress
can be integrated to Joomla. For pure blogging
I suggest to use Wordpress but if you have some
other things for the site and not just a blog
then use Joomla
