Do you wear contact lenses?

Well, I've been wearing contact lenses for nearly one week now. At first, it feels really odd putting something on your eyes, then when I went back to school without my usual eyeglasses, my eyes just feel so bare and naked. But no trouble so far. The optician was actually quite delighted that I am such a natural at putting them on and getting them off.
How about you? Any experiences with contact lenses?

I don't wear contact lenses. I think it is somewhat risky. I prefer to wear the normal glasses.

You get use to them after awhile. I have been wearing contact lenses for about 20 years now. Well I wear glass to when I take my contacts out. I like contacts better myself. I guess because my glasses are so thick and I seem to see better wearing contact lenses.

I wear glasses, because I can't see in a distance. All my friends prefer contact lences, but I am affraid on putting them on. I don't even now why, I think that in the long run it is more harmful to the eyes than wearing glasses, that is why I am still not buying lences. Maybe I am wrong.

No, i wear glasses. It gives me a better look, i look more decent and studious in glasses, also it gets more respect for me, it is easy to take off as well. We just have to get used to it, thereafter we'll hardly feel its presence. It is also economical. Hence, i prefer glasses to contact lens.

I have been wearing contact since I was old enough to convince my mother to buy them for me. I love contacts because it is such a natural way to see, you don't have to think about it, or push up glasses that slid down your nose, there's no space over or under or around the glasses where you can't see or things are blurry.
Once you get used to putting them in and taking them out, it's no problem to wear them and it sounds like you adjusted great.
I do remember the first day I got contacts. I walked out of the optometrist's office and the wind was blowing. It felt so strange to have the air hit my eyes, I had never known that with glasses. Of course, I then had to learn to close my eyes when the wind kicked up dust. But, it's a wonderful feeling to be free of glasses.
