With all of this wet weather and heat, many people have concerns about mold, especially in their bathroom, basement, closets and garage. The most economical way to kill mold naturally is to use white distilled vinegar. Pour it into a spray bottle right out of the manufacturer's bottle. Spray it straight on the affected surface and do not rinse it off. A highly effective, but more expensive and smelly alternative is tea tree oil. Put one teaspoon for each one cup of water into a spray bottle. Remember, as with any solution, it is wise if you are going to use these on fabrics, to try it on an inconspicuous spot first.
