What are the current restrictions on what can be carried onto an airplane when

travelling in the U.S.? I know there are more restrictions than the last time I flew two years ago. Can anyone tell me what not to pack in my carry-on bag?

You can actually get a list online from various places....You could check the website of whatever airline you are traveling with and also of course checkign out the TSA site http://www.tsa.gov/travelers/airtravel/assistant/editorial_1012.shtm

Well just remember not to bring anything liquid. Just like what workinmom said earlier no shampoo, lotion, liquid lipstick, gloss, bottled water, toothpaste and etc. So have a safe trip!
