I do wonder why people continue to buy into dangerous foods. Im not talking about just unhealthy foods like chocolate cake but i am talking about unnatural foods. Let me back it up a bit. I don't know who saw the news today but it turns out that if you sniff in too many fumes from the butter flavored microwave popcorn, it can be deadly. The companies have known about this but said that they never thought consumers would get enough of the fumes to hurt their health. Another thing I saw is Supersize It (i think that is the name) which is a documentary of how daily consumption of MCDonalds can affect the human body. It turns out that fast food french fries can't even be broken down by our digestive systems. And now i hear that they are making caffeine covered potato chips which I am sure will give way to some health concern down the line. So I know why the companies make this stuff - MONEY MONEY MONEY. But why do we continue to buy it??? IS it because the food is so good that we don't care?? Or are we really naive??? Cuz even if you don't know exactly how this stuff affects us, we gotta know that it isn't exactly healthy. Right? Now I can't point the finger cuz I still eat this stuff myself (except the caffeine chips which I just heard about today) But I know how to control my intake of the stuff because even before I hear it on the news I know it can't be that great of me. My point everything in modification can be alright. So are we really this dependant on society to tell us what to eat and how much of it??? Sorry this is so long by the way.

You are right about the companies make this stuff for MONEY MONEY MONEY, and the sad thing is, most of us know that caffeine and a lot of other additives that go into these bad for you foods, are addictive, but we eat them anyway and give them to our kids. Lots of times I get a craving for something and eat it b/c I just want to taste it. Food addiction is a word that is more prevalent than most people know. Its not only the overweight that suffer from food addictions, its everyone who consistently eat foods that are bad for them.
