Magic the Gathering Variations

Hey, does anyone know of some interesting magic variations? I'm talking really mixing up the game and stuff. Like Chaos Magic, or Dark Magic. I'm looking for something new and different to do with a bunch of my friends when we get together in a week or so. Any thoughts would be great.

Hey, I'm not sure if my reply to this is going to be worthwhile (posted 1 year ago.. lol) but the most interesting format for Magic that I've played is called Elder Dragon Highlander (EDH). The format consists of players constructing 100 card decks of completely unique cards (besides basic lands). The colors of your deck can only reflect the colors of a "general" or legendary creature that you choose to build your deck around. The game plays like normal magic but with some extra general rules.
