Tips To Put A Child To Sleep / myLot

My 1.5 year old daughter loves to put to bed while listening to children songs. I don't know how it actually works, but she mostly falls to sleep with the songs playing on the background. Do you have other tips on how to put your child to sleep...??

I don't have a child yet. But I've the experience to put my 1 years old nephew to sleep. I just rubbing his forehead and mumble :"sleep... sleep... sleep..." and within 1 minute, he slept and going to his island of dream. :) Hehehe...

Hi! Forgive me but I could use some help here myself. (Been a while since I was on this site so I am not entirely used to the revamp.) I've an almost 3 year old and we've not had much of a problem in putting him to sleep until recently; he outright refuses. (We're up at 4:30am so he needs to be in his room by a certain time but he won't do it.) I've tried the music, walks, gentle play and I am still getting no where. Even my husband has tried and he's had a bit more luck but not much. Understandably, we need something that'll work so this doesn't drag out. Any ideas? Please help!! Thanks!
